Daft Punk set to team up with Stevie Wonder at Grammy Awards 2014

French dance duo Daft Punk are set to team up with US soul legend Stevie Wonder for a performance at the 56th Grammy Awards later this month.

The "Get Lucky" chart-toppers are reportedly working with the 63-year-old, with rapper Pharrell Williams and co-writer Nile Rodgers also confirmed to join them on stage.

Guy Manuel de Homem Christo and Tomas Bangalter will play tracks from their fourth studio album, Random Access Memories, at the Staples Centre ceremony in Los Angeles on 26 January.

Daft Punk have been nominated for four awards: Record of the Year and Best Pop Group Performance for "Get Lucky" and Album of the Year and Best Dance/Electronica Album for Random Access Memories, released in May 2013.

Random Access Memories is also tipped for Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical, but that award would not go to the group themselves.

The robotic pair’s "celebratory" set will be their first televised performance since collaborating with Kanye West in 2008 and their first live performance of Random Access Memories material.

“Details of the performance are still being worked out,” said Ken Ehrlich, executive producer of the Grammys. “But the idea of having the exclusive television performance by this iconic band is something we’re very, very excited about.

“It will be a collaborative and celebratory stage performance that honours their multi-nominated music.”
